Butter Pecan Pudding Cake

1 (2-layer) package yellow cake mix
1 (4 serving size) package Jello butter pecan instant pudding
4 eggs
1 cup water
¼ cup oil
½ tsp maple flavoring (optional)

Combine all ingredients
Blend and beat for 4 minutes
Pour into greased and floured 9 X 13 inch pan
Bake at 350
40 – 45 minutes
Cool in pan for 10 minutes
Remove to finish cooling

Fluffy Nut Frosting

Pour 1 ½ cups cold milk into bowl
Add 1 package of dream whip
1 package of butter pecan instant pudding
Blend and whip until soft peak form
Spread on top and sides of the cake
Sprinkle with 1/3 cup chopped pecans
